Yes, you can. You may like the reassurance of someone you know and trust being there to support you, especially for the first session. It is important for the support person to understand that the intervention is focused on your own needs, preferences and what you yourself want to achieve.

Sometimes the people who support you may wish to seek support for themselves. This can be discussed separately. 

My office hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays 8:30am – 5:30pm.

Sessions are usually 45mins long and take place once a week. 

Programmes are tailor-made and can range from 2-3 to 10-12 sessions. 

Every person is different. We can discuss what will work best for you and what you want to achieve.

The rate for an individual 45-minute session is $132.00 plus GST. Payment is due within 1 week of the session and can be made via bank transfer.

If you experience symptoms of acute psychosis or moderate or greater cognitive deficits, this type of coaching intervention may not be suitable. You may require and benefit from accessing other services to support your health & wellbeing and activity participation at this time. I recommend that you consult your doctor. 

If you feel not yet ready to actively implement change or confront past experiences, then perhaps my services may not yet right for you. I’m happy to talk to you about where you are at and recommend other supports that might suit you.

Intervention is primarily provided on a 1:1 basis to allow you to discuss sensitive issues, thoughts and feelings in privacy. 

Small group programmes can be developed on specific topics in collaboration with health and disability providers.
